Professor Julian Pfrombeck will be hosting a webinar co-organized with the Happy-Retired Charity Action Limited (HRCA). He will introduce the Later-Life Work Index (LLWI) that helps organizations identify gaps in age-friendliness and prepare for people challenges related to an aging workforce in the Hong Kong context.


The webinar will take place on May 28, 2026, and is specifically designed for local employers and HR professionals navigating age-inclusive talent management strategies.

We present two projects at the upcoming Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Annual Conference 2026 in New Orleans. 

 

Our poster titled “An Uncertainty Mindset Intervention During Job Search”, has been top-rated and selected for inclusion in the Training/Coaching/Mentoring Content Area Theme Track. The poster session is on Thursday, April 30, at 4 PM (Central Time).

 

We present a paper titled “The Multidimensional Nature of Knowledge Flows from Older to Younger Employees” as part of the symposium “Pathways to Successful Aging: Self-Regulation, Knowledge Sharing, and Work–Life Balance.” This is a project led by Julian Pfrombeck and co-authored by our lab members Jerry Man Him Li, Keith Wai Hin Hon, Alan Chen. The symposium takes place on Saturday, May 2, at 8 AM (Central Time).
