Eva SO

MPhil in I/O Psychology Student

Eva is an MPhil student in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, focusing her research on boredom in the workplace and its effects on engagement and well-being. She believes that understanding employees' perceptions of their work is essential for promoting a fulfilling work experience.

Having completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at CUHK, Eva was motivated by a desire to gain new perspectives on society and human behavior. Her experiences with organizations like UNESCO and StoryTaler highlighted the potential for individuals to create impact and advocate for positive change, which ultimately led her to Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

With her experience in both in-house and external consulting roles, Eva has gained diverse exposure to assessment centers, leadership development, and psychometrics, people strategy, leadership development, engagement, motivation, well-being, and performance management.

Her particular interests lie in psychometrics, learning and development, well-being, and employee experiences.
